Pooja Makker

Attorney

Ms. Makker grew up in Bellevue, Washington where she attended Bellevue High School and later attended University of Washington for her undergraduate studies with a focus on cell biology. Her primary focus in business, immigration, and estate planning.

While in law school, Ms. Makker worked for the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and their Tax Division, while she simultaneously interned for the International Rescue Committee Immigration division. She and her team helped to reunite families and provided high-quality immigration and legal services, as well as citizenship assistance to families in the area.

Ms. Makker has assisted various attorneys in the Greater Seattle where she gained experience in estate planning and business law. She worked for IRS Chief Councils’ office along with the Washington Department of Revenue Appeals and Administrative Hearing Division.

She has been heavily involved in her family’s tax firm since the age of 16. She brings with her tremendous experience in taxation as well as international taxation. This coupled with her estate planning background ensures that our clients get a holistic approach to their unique need.

In her free time when she is not working, you can always find her trying new restaurants with her family and friends, writing, or traveling with her family and friends.
